Student Detail Report

The Student Detail Report is the main hub for finding everything related to a specific student's progress in SIMTICS.

Each row represents a SIMTICS module that the student has access to, as well as information such as test mode scores, quiz scores, and total study time for each.

The certificate check mark shows up when the student has achieved at least an 80% score in a Test Mode Simulation (quiz mode score for the Tutorial and modules without simulations) as well as 60 minutes or more of total study time.

Selecting the three dots under detail report will open the Detail Report for that specific student and SIMTICS module.

The Student Detail Report is also how you get to the Full Detail Report and Daily Time Report.

Full Detail Report

The Full Detail Report shows all SIMTICS modules the student has taken in alphabetical order.

For each module, these reports show:

  • every login session with date and time

  • any Learn Mode, Practice Mode, or Test Mode simulations and any quizzes completed during each session

  • the time taken to complete each activity and the scores achieved

  • any errors made in simulations

  • total study time for each module.

This report also shows the grand total study time across all modules too. (For the example above, it is 80 hours, 2 minutes, and 8 seconds.

Example: Use this to find out where a student struggled within a test mode simulation, or how much time and attempts a student has spent across the modules they have access to.

Daily Time Report

The report is simply a list of time spent per day, per module.

Example: Use this report to see where your student is allocating their study time, and in which modules.

Detail Report

The Detail Report shows after clicking on the three dots within the Student Detail Report. This report is exactly the same as the Full Detail Report except it just shows the information for a specific module, rather than all modules.

Modules detail report

This interactive report allows you to filter many options to show the results you wish to see for a specific SIMTICS module.

All students who have access to the selected module will appear here, as you'll be able to view all their grades across the board.

Example: Use this report to find all students who haven't yet achieved an 80% test mode simulation score across the specified module.

Group Report

The group report is a quick way to view all your students in a course/group in one page, so you can quickly scroll through and get an overview of their progress.

Example: Use this report to quickly understand how students are progressing, and which are lagging behind with completing their modules.
