Bulk Editing Products in Your Store

1. Accessing Bulk Edit Mode

Step 1: Go to your Products section where your items are listed.

Step 2: Select products by checking the boxes next to each item you want to edit.

Step 3: Click the Edit button on the bottom, floating tool to open the bulk edit interface.

2. Bulk Edit Options

Once in bulk edit mode, you will see three sections, where you can make various updates:

A. Updating Prices

Rounding Feature: If your prices are inconsistent or not rounded neatly (e.g., $19.47), you can use the rounding options (e.g., .95, .99, .50) to adjust prices automatically.

Set Percentage Margin: You can also adjust the product margin. For example, if you want a 40% margin, enter “40” and apply the rounding.

• Set the margin regardless of whether you are changing the price format and then you can add the formatting. You must add a margin otherwise it will be set to 0%!

B. Updating Categories

Add or Overwrite Categories:

Add to Existing: Select this if you want to add a new category without removing the current ones.

Overwrite: Use this option to remove all existing categories and apply a completely new one.

Example: If adding products to “Accessories,” select this category and apply the changes.

C. Adjusting Product Status

Draft Mode: Use this option if your products are still in progress or if you don’t want them visible in the store yet. This is useful when making updates or waiting for approvals.

Published Mode: Set items to published when they are ready for customers to see.

3. Confirming and Applying Changes

Step 1: After making your desired updates, click Update to apply the changes.

Step 2: You will see the status changes (e.g., draft mode) reflected immediately, along with updates to pricing and categories.

4. Review Changes

• Check your updated items:

Pricing: Ensure prices are consistent and reflect the rounding or margin adjustments.

Categories: Verify that the correct categories are assigned.

Status: Confirm whether items are in draft or published mode.

Follow these steps to efficiently manage and update your product listings, ensuring your store remains organized and your items are accurately represented.
