If you need to stop a rent collection contract, you can easily do so through your SingleKey account. Follow the steps below to cancel a rent collection agreement:
Step 1: Log into Your Account
Once logged in, navigate to the "Rent Collection" page from your dashboard.
Step 2: Locate the Contract
Find the specific tenant's rent collection contract. Click on the three dots (⋮) in the top corner of the contract box. A drop-down menu will appear—select “Cancel Contract.”
Step 3: Confirm Cancellation
A confirmation pop-up will appear. You’ll have the option to include a reason for the cancellation. When ready, click “Cancel Contract” to finalize the cancellation.
Important: Once the contract is cancelled, the rent collection will no longer be active.
Alternative Way to Cancel
You can also cancel the contract from the contract detail page:
Click “View Contract” on the tenant’s rent collection agreement.
Scroll to the bottom left of the contract page.
Click “Cancel Contract” and follow the confirmation steps.
