Keeping your bank information up to date ensures that rent payments are deposited correctly and without delay. If you're a landlord using SingleKey’s Rent Collection service, you can update your deposit account details at any time by following the steps below.

Step-by-Step Guide to Update Banking Information

Step 1:
Log in to your SingleKey account and navigate to the tenant’s Rent Collection Contract.
Click on “View Contract.”

Step 2:
On the “Rent Details” page, find the “Rent Deposit Account” section and click “Change.”

Step 3:
You’ll be directed to a page where you can update your bank account using one of two methods:

Connect a new bank account

Option 1: Enter Account Details Manually

  1. Choose "Enter account details manually."

  2. Input the following:

    • Transit Number (5 digits)

    • Institution Number (3 digits)

    • Account Number (7+ digits)

  3. Upload one of the following documents:

    • A scanned void cheque, or

    • A direct deposit slip

Uploading proper documentation helps us verify your bank account for secure processing.


Option 2: Connect via Online Banking

  1. Select “Connect via Bank.”

  2. Choose your financial institution from the list provided.

  3. Follow the secure prompts to connect your account directly.
