What We Look For
Your proof of payment must clearly show:
✅ Your name
✅ Payment date
✅ Amount paid
If any of these details are missing, we may not be able to approve or report your payment.
Accepted Proof of Payment
You can upload one of the following:
Bank Statement
Must show your name, payment date, and amount paid.
Rent Receipt
Must show the rental address, your name, payment date, amount paid, landlord or property manager name, and signature.
eTransfer Receipt
Must show your name, payment date, and amount paid.
What May Be Declined
We may decline documents that are:
❌ Missing your name
❌ Missing the payment date or amount
❌ Blurry, cropped, or incomplete
❌ Rent receipts without a landlord or property manager signature
❌ eTransfer confirmation emails instead of actual banking receipts
Multiple Tenants
If there is more than one tenant, the proof of payment must add up to the full monthly rent amount. The name on the proof of payment must match at least one tenant on the lease.
If the payment is made by someone who is not listed as a tenant, we may request a signed lease for verification.
