Export presets are templates for downloading your information. A few presets come by default based on common export uses but you can also create your own presets. Think of presets like a report template you can select.
Note: The images used here are for Bookings presets, but the process is exactly the same for payments, statements, and clients.
Use an Existing Preset
To use an existing preset, click Download in the top right of the page.
This opens up the Export window. Click the Preset dropdown to see the available options.
Note: Presets are based on the file type you selected. Different preset options will display for CSV and PDF files respectively. Some presets, such as Invoice PDFs for Bookings will populate an additional tab of options for your download, make sure to view them all carefully.
Select the desired preset to apply it to your information and then click Export in the bottom right of the window.
Create a Preset
To create a preset, click Download in the top right of the page.
This opens up the Export window. Select your file type and update the export settings to match the information you need.
When you’re done, return to the File Settings tab. Toggle the switch next to, Save download preset?
Note: If you do not see the option at the bottom, then you have not made any changes to the export to save.
Fill in the Preset name. This is how you will find the preset in the dropdown.
When you’re done, click Export. Your file will download and your preset will now be saved as an option in the Preset dropdown.
Note: Presets that you make for a Booking Export will only be visible when exporting booking information, just as a preset made for a Payment Export will only be visible when exporting payment records.
