When creating or updating team member’s account, you can set roles and permissions for them, as well as assign them a title.

Titles in Sion are just a method of record keeping and does not affect a user’s permission levels. Just click and enter the appropriate Title for a team member.

Roles, on the other hand, have recommended permission levels. There are three different roles built into Sion:

  • Agent

  • Accountant

  • Manager

Each role has a set of default permissions. For example, a Manager is assumed to have more permissions than an Agent. Use the Role dropdown to select the appropriate role.

You can add or remove permissions regardless of the selected role. Simply check or uncheck the permission boxes to adjust permissions.

The checkbox at the top of each permission category lets you select or deselect all of the below options. Changes must be saved to be applied.

Note: When you are unable to perform a task or view information, it is likely a permissions problem and an Admin will need to adjust yours accordingly.
