Every Sion account now includes a list of Sion verified suppliers.

Verified suppliers contain verified and normalized company and contact information for easier communication and follow up. This means no more bad data or chasing down updated contact information.

You now have access to all Sion verified suppliers in your account, but you also have the option of adding your own billing and contact information to your supplier profiles.

Note: If you are a host agency and add new information to your supplier profiles it will also be available to your independent contractors (ICs).

Just like verified suppliers, every Sion account now includes verified brand and chain profiles. You can filter bookings by chain code and view suppliers by brand or chain.

As of now, you can't update contact or billing information for brands and chains, but we’re working on additional functionality and flexibility for these profiles. We'll have an update for you soon.

You can now filter using updated location attributes. Find suppliers near an airport, or within a neighborhood (just not on the moon-yet!).

Compare revenue, commission, and booking volume performance by quarter or year against previous periods.

Note: enhanced location filtering, preferred programs, brands and chains are only available for verified suppliers.

Your unverified suppliers are still available in your Sion instance and will appear alongside the new verified suppliers.

Note: you will be able to merge your unverified supplier profiles with verified suppliers. You can start this process at any point. We’ve given you a head start by matching many of your unverified supplier profiles with the new verified suppliers. All you need to do is confirm these matches. Merging will assign all your bookings, payments, and contacts to the verified supplier. If this task sounds daunting, don’t worry, our support team is available to help.

We have improved supplier search so you can find exactly what you’re looking for.

And something everyone has been asking for – suppliers now come with default commission rates and currencies.

Note: new bookings will use these values by default.

Just like Bookings and Payments, now you can get a quick view of suppliers and clients without leaving the current page.

And we didn't drop client and supplier pages with this change, now you'll find the reporting charts alongside everything else you've come to expect from these pages.

You do not need to edit your previously entered bookings, but please do use Sion Verified Suppliers for all new bookings you create.

You can use Sion’s suggestions to match your manual suppliers to Verified profiles. If you are part of a Host agency, it’s best to reach out to your admin team for further direction. Sion will merge bookings for agencies once suppliers are matched and approval has been given.

Sion will provide contact suggestions for many Verified Suppliers. Host agencies can add their own contacts to Verified, or Manual suppliers. Contacts added by Host agencies will be viewable by ICs and subagents. ICs can also add their own contacts. These contacts will not be viewable or shareable across the agency, and will only be for that IC’s use.

Sion has added additional Verified Suppliers - Airlines, DMCs, Tour Operators, Cruises, etc. In total, there are over 200,000 Sion Verified Supplier profiles.

Bulk Merging is primarily designed for host agencies use, but it is available to everyone. Please check with your host agency before matching/merging.
