Continuous mode vs. standard recording

Learn the difference between Siro's different types of recording

Written by Rachel Sirotkin

📍 What's the Difference?

Standard Recording in Siro is best when you're capturing data in a single location or for one specific appointment. In this mode, you start and stop your recording manually each time.

Continuous Mode is designed specifically for canvassing/door-to-door (D2D) workflows. When toggled on, Siro keeps recording continuously as you move from appointment to appointment, so there's no need to start and stop.

Recordings made in continuous mode will be automatically split or divided into separate recordings per customer interaction. This allows you to focus on your customer conversations rather than turning your recording on and off. Recordings only split automatically if the recording begins with continuous mode enabled.
