The Recording Detail Screen is your central hub for reviewing, analyzing, and taking action on individual sales recordings. It brings together customer details, AI insights, scorecards, and transcripts all in one place to help you quickly understand what happened and what to do next.
Getting Started
Who is this feature for?
The Recording Detail Screen is designed for sales reps and managers who want to:
Review and analyze recordings
Identify coaching opportunities
Follow up with customers
Track performance across calls
While Your Recording Is Processing
It says "Uploading your recording" — what does that mean?
Your recording is still being transferred from the device it was recorded on, so Siro hasn't started analyzing it yet. Keep the app open and, if you can, get on wifi — large recordings on a slow connection take a while. It moves to Analyzing your recording on its own once the upload finishes.
I just finished recording and the page says "Analyzing your recording" — what now?
Siro is transcribing and analyzing the conversation. The page updates itself, so your transcript, summary and scorecard appear as soon as they're ready — you don't need to refresh. While it's working, the transcript panel shows its own version of the same message.
My transcript is there but the video won't play.
Video is produced by a separate step that finishes a little after the analysis, so the tabs and transcript deliberately don't wait for it. You'll see "Your video is being processed." where the player goes, and the player appears on its own once the file is ready. Audio-only recordings skip this step entirely.
It says "This is taking longer than expected."
Analysis usually finishes within a few minutes. Siro stops checking automatically about ten minutes after the recording ended — not ten minutes after it started — and gives you a Refresh button so you can check on demand. If a check fails you'll see "Couldn't check for an update. Please try again."
How long is too long?
Analysis itself usually finishes in minutes. An upload from a phone can legitimately take up to about an hour on a slow connection — while that's happening you'll see "Large recordings can take a while to upload, especially on a slow connection." rather than the analysis message. If either goes well past that, contact Support.
Note: a recording that has already finished never shows any of this — no spinner and no polling.

Settings
What is the Recording Outcome on my recording?
Recording Outcome is a label automatically applied by Siro based on what happened in the conversation (e.g., "Products Sold," "Appointment Set"). It is extracted from the transcript after the recording finishes processing. Siro auto-labels every recording, but you can correct it — tap the outcome to open the editor and add or remove outcomes.
How does Recording Outcome relate to my CRM?
Recording Outcome describes what happened on the conversation. CRM Disposition describes the state of the opportunity in your CRM. When the recording is linked to a CRM record, both can appear side-by-side as complementary signals.
How do I make my recording private?
Open the recording, tap or click the three dots next to the title, and choose Make recording private. To undo it, choose Make recording public on mobile or Change to limited access on web. This works in both the web app and the mobile app. Only the person who made the recording sees this option — coaches and admins don't, even on recordings they can otherwise edit. A private recording is hidden from your team and managers and is removed from your team's Feed, so sharing isn't available while it's private. On web the recording's access status reads Private; on mobile a Private badge shows.
