Ask Siro is available throughout the Siro web app. Ask Siro is your always-available AI assistant for finding answers, patterns, and coaching insights across recordings and your org's data.
Key features
Persistent Ask Siro entrypoint across the web app
Ask Siro is accessible via the Ask Siro launcher — a button on the right side of the web app (which you can drag up or down to reposition) — a consistent entrypoint so you can open Ask Siro from anywhere without losing your place.
Ask Siro is the home page
When you log into the web app, Ask Siro is now the primary landing experience for everyone — reps, coaches, and admins alike.
Org-wide search and answers—regardless of context
Ask questions that span your entire organization's Siro data, even if you start from a specific screen. (Example: begin on a single recording, then ask "How are our top reps handling pricing objections this month?")
More consistent capabilities across entrypoints
The same "brain" powers multiple AI surfaces, reducing differences in quality and behavior depending on where you started.
One Ask Siro for recordings and your org
The same assistant answers whether you're asking about a single recording or your entire org.
Richer outputs
Ask Siro can return structured answers (including tables/charts when relevant), in addition to written analysis.
See your team's AI usage
The Ask Siro home page reports how many AI interactions you and your team logged this week, broken down by team and by person.
What Ask Siro can do
Ask Siro is designed to help you move faster than manual review by synthesizing your org's recorded conversations and related data.
Common outcomes:
Identify trends and themes across a team, region, or the full org
Find winning talk tracks (and the moments where they happen)
Diagnose why deals stall or get lost
Generate coaching plans and prioritized focus areas
Draft follow-ups (emails/texts) using real conversation context
Where to find Ask Siro in the web app
1) Ask Siro home page
For coaches, managers, and admins, the Ask Siro home page is the best place to ask broader questions that go beyond a single recording.
Use this when:
You want patterns across reps, time periods, or teams
You're preparing for a team meeting or 1:1s
You're looking for "what's working" and "what's not" at scale
Tips
Start broad, then narrow: "What objections are most common this month?" → "Show examples for Rep A vs Rep B."
Ask for format: "Summarize in 5 bullets" or "Put this in a table by rep."
Your team's AI usage
The Ask Siro home page also shows an AI usage summary: AI interactions this week, how that compares with the week before, and a daily sparkline. Click it to expand.
The expanded panel breaks usage down by team (AI interactions by team) — click a team to see its members, and a person to see their week. Reps open on their own Your week with Siro view.
Everyone sees this, and you only ever see the scope your role allows: a rep sees their own activity, a coach sees the teams they coach, and an admin sees the whole organization.
The figure covers the last 7 complete days, and you can step back up to 3 earlier weeks.
How is my team using AI? opens Ask Siro on a ready-made prompt about your team's adoption — what gets used, what gets ignored, how teams compare, and who the power users and non-adopters are.
2) Use Ask Siro via the Ask Siro launcher
Ask Siro is available via the Ask Siro launcher on the right side of the web app (drag it up or down to reposition). That means you can open Ask Siro from any page (Recordings, Scorecards, Search, Comments, etc.) and still ask questions about a specific recording when you need to.
Use this when:
You need quick understanding of one conversation
You're writing follow-up notes
You're coaching a specific rep on a specific appointment
It's helpful to have more context in front of you while asking Siro a question (i.e. while viewing a transcript,
How it works:
From anywhere in the web app, click the Ask Siro launcher on the right side of the screen to open Ask Siro.
Ask your question
You will see pre-populated questions as jumping off points
Ask Siro knows which page you are on, and can pulling the relevant context or recording details
Review the response, then ask follow-ups (Ask Siro will keep conversational context)
Voice mode
You can talk to Ask Siro instead of typing. Voice mode opens a live voice call, so you can ask your questions hands-free and follow along as Siro listens and responds.
How to start a voice call
Open Ask Siro (from the Ask Siro launcher on the right side of the web app, or the Ask Siro home page).
With the message box empty, click the Voice button in the chat composer.
Speak naturally. The composer shows Listening… while it hears you, Thinking… while it works, and Speaking… while Siro answers.
Use Mute microphone / Unmute microphone to toggle your mic, and click End to hang up the call.
Siro can play the recording, not just describe it
During a voice call you can ask to hear an example — for instance, "play me how she handled the price objection" — and Ask Siro will set the moment up, play the actual audio from the recording, then pick the conversation back up.
Clips are short: usually 30 seconds or less, and never more than a minute.
Siro plays one clip per response, threaded into what it's saying.
You only hear audio from recordings you already have access to.
If Siro says it didn't catch that
If Siro answers "Sorry — I didn't catch that. Could you say that again?", that is Siro failing to complete that one turn — not a problem with your microphone or with how clearly you spoke.
Just ask again. The call is still connected and keeps everything you have discussed so far, so repeating the question is usually all it takes.
If it happens two or three times in a row, click End and start a new voice call.
If it keeps happening after that, contact Support.
There is no need to check your microphone or speak louder for this message — it is not a listening problem.
Notes
The Voice button is unavailable while a recording is in progress — you'll see "Microphone is in use by an active recording". Finish the recording to use voice.
If Siro replies that it didn't catch you, repeat the question — the call stays live. Restart the call only if it repeats.
How to use Ask Siro (best practices)
Start with suggested prompts
Ask Siro may surface suggested questions to help you get value quickly. These are a fast way to:
Get a summary / "catch me up"
Identify strengths and opportunities
Pull actionable next steps
Ask precise questions
Specific questions lead to better answers:
Better: "What objections did the customer raise about price, and how did the rep respond?"
Worse: "How did it go?"
Use "escape hatches" intentionally
Even if you begin in a recording, you can ask broader questions:
"Compare this rep's objection handling to our top performers."
"What are the top 3 reasons deals are stalling this week across my team?"
"Which reps need coaching on close, and what should I do next?"
Trust, then verify
Ask Siro responses may include citations/timestamps and links back to the underlying source so you can quickly validate important details.
Example questions
Coaching & performance
"Who needs my help the most this week, and why?"
"Generate a coaching plan for me for the next 7 days."
"What are the top skills our team is struggling with this month?"
"How are top performers handling the price objection? Include a few examples."
Deal inspection
"Why did this deal stall?"
"What did the customer say they cared about most?"
"What next steps were agreed to, and who owns them?"
Enablement & training
"Find 5 strong examples of reps setting the agenda early."
"What language do our best reps use to create urgency without being pushy?"
"What are the most common competitor mentions, and how do we respond?"
Notes on access & availability
Most reps, coaches, and admins have access to Ask Siro.
Specific capabilities and data visibility can vary by your org's configuration and permissions.
Ask Siro relies on processed recordings and transcripts; if a recording has limited transcript data, answers may be limited.
The AI usage summary on the Ask Siro home page is visible to everyone, scoped by role: a rep sees their own activity, a coach the teams they coach, and an admin the whole organization.
