Understanding Contact Ownership

The Transport Creator Contact Details show information about the party that created the transport (the owner of the transport). Here's how it works:

  • The contact details will show customer's information (the company that hired the carrier to transport goods)

  • Carrier's own contact information will not be displayed unless the carrier is forwarding the transports to assign it to another carrier.

Think of it this way: Transport Creator Contact Details show "who assigned this job?" This helps you to quickly identify whom to contact with questions about a specific transport.
