Introduction

In the fast-paced world of logistics, context is everything. The Notes feature allows you to attach critical instructions, updates or reminders directly to a transport or specific stop.

💻 Viewing and Adding Notes in the Visibility

You can manage notes directly within the transport detail view. No manual setup is required.

  1. Open Transport Details: Select any transport to open its detailed view.

  2. Locate the Notes Section: Scroll to the dedicated Notes area. Here, you can view all existing notes linked to the specific transport or individual stops.

  3. Add a Note: Click the + Add Note button.

  4. Save: Enter your text and save. The note is instantly visible to authorized parties based on your privacy settings.

🔒 Visibility & Privacy Settings

You have full control over who can view your comments. When creating a note, you must choose one of the following:

  • Private Note - Only the transport creator and the assigned carrier can see a note

  • Public Note - Anyone with access to the transport, including users viewing via Shared Links.

⚙️ Integration via API

For automated workflows, you can sync notes directly from your Transportation Management System (TMS).

  • Capabilities: Create, retrieve, and update transport notes programmatically.

  • Documentation: Visit our API Developer Portal for updated schemas and endpoint details.

  • Use Case: Ideal for ensuring your internal team's comments are reflected in Transporeon without manual data entry.
