Autonomous-allocation feature is responsible for automatic vehicle assignment for transports. Transporeon Visibility Hub can autonomously allocate a vehicle to a transport if our system detects a high-confidence match between a truck's behavior and the transport plan. This ensures you still receive tracking updates and ETAs even if a manual allocation was missed.

When an integrated vehicle's movements (such as its stop and break locations) closely match the scheduled locations and timeslots of an unallocated transport, our system can autonomously assign that vehicle to the transport.

To protect your data and privacy, autonomously-allocated transports are restricted to Limited Visibility:

When a transport is autonomously-allocated, a warning is displayed on the transport detail view so you know exactly why the position is hidden:

Autonomous-allocation can be enabled or disabled in your Visibility settings page.

If you prefer that the system does not autonomously allocate vehicles from your fleet to transports, you can easily disable this feature at any time.

To change Autonomous-allocation settings:

If the transport was autonomously-allocated with Limited Visibility (ETA and status updates only, vehicle position not shared), the asset owner can Approve allocation to turn it into a regular allocation with vehicle position also exposed. Approval is available from the transport details view and from the allocation dialog.
