You will find the following information here

  • Prerequisites for forwarding transports

  • Forwarding a transport on Visibility Hub

  • Subcontractor notification

Prerequisites for forwarding transports

  1. Invite your subcontractors to join Visibility Hub with a simple referral link. How to do that ? You can read all about it here.

  2. The subcontractors need to finish the Visibility Hub integration process. Afterwards you will be able to forward them transports.

Forwarding a transport to your subcontractor

There are two ways to forward a transport to a subcontractor in Transporeon Visibility:

Forward a transport in the transport detail view

  1. Click on Allocate to open the assignment window

  2. Click on forward to subcontractor

  3. Select the subcontractor to which you want to forward the transport to from the drop-down menu

  4. Click on forward to confirm

Forward a transport using an interface connection

You can also set up an interface connection between your inhouse system and Transporeon Visibility to automatically forward transports to subcontractors.

This offers several key benefits:

  • No more separate or manual handling of transports in Transporeon Visibility.

  • Information synchronizes directly with your in-house system, reducing the risk of user errors.

  • Future-proof solution that ensures you'll maximize the benefits of Visibility.

For details, have a look at the Transporeon Visibility API user guide here.

Subcontractor e-mail notification

Your subcontractor will receive an email notification when you forward a transport to them, letting them know it's time to take action:

  • By clicking on Log in to Visibility Hub the subcontractor will get directly redirected to the selected transport and can then assign a vehicle

  • Here you can find more on how to assign vehicles

Please note that we assure your customer will never know that a transport is subcontracted or see the name of the subcontractor performing the transport. If available, only the subcontractor's vehicle license plate will be displayed.
