How to allocate multiple trucks

Where to assign multiple trucks

  1. Go to your Visibility Hub profile.

  2. Select your shipment with the tractor switch from your unassigned transports.

  3. Click on ‘Allocate’ to open the assignment pop-up window (more info on how to open it you can be found here).

How to allocate multiple trucks

  1. In the allocation pop-up window, click on ‘Add another vehicle’.

  2. Select the 2 license plates executing the transport.

  3. Please select after which tour stop the switch to the 2nd vehicle is planned (’Switch happens after’).

  4. Confirm your selection by clicking on "Confirm assignment".

What you see after assigning two vehicles

  1. After closing the assignment window, the transport status changes to ‘Upcoming’; the information ‘2 vehicles’ is displayed.

  2. Assigning several vehicles also adds a warning sign to the transport detail view. In the detail view, the corresponding information about the tractor switch is displayed.

How to add more than 2 vehicles

  1. In the assignment pop-up window, you can click on ‘Add another vehicle’ multiple times, adding more vehicles to the tour.

  2. Make sure to fulfill the ’Switch happens after’ information for each vehicle.

  3. The displayed information is the same as in a 2 vehicles case, only the number of assigned vehicles is updated.

Change the allocation

1. Click on ‘Change Allocation’ in transport detailed view. The allocation window reopens itself.

2. You can modify the allocation, remove one vehicle, or even remove all allocations.

3. Click on ‘Confirm Allocation’ below in order to confirm your changes.
