Requirement
Annotation template(s) with drop-down data type.
At least one (1) associated layer to an annotation group.
You can filter annotations based on any criteria specified in your Annotation Template, provided that at least one category includes a drop-down list.
Below are the steps on how to filter annotations.
Filtering by Layer Types
Users can filter layers based on their category by selecting the relevant options within the filtering menu. This functionality enables a more efficient workflow by displaying only the necessary data layers.

How to Apply Filtering by Layer Types
Navigate to the Filter button.
Select the Layer Type you want to filter.
The filtered dataset will display only the layers associated with the selected type.
Filtering by Annotation Groups
You can also filter based on the annotation groups you have created. This allows for more granular control over your data visualization.
For the platform to successfully filter the data, templates should be formatted in a way that at least one data type is a drop-down list. This ensures structured data filtering and improved organization
How to Apply Filtering by Annotation Groups
Navigate to the Filter button.
Select the Annotation Group you want to filter.
Select the criteria you from the Annotation Group to create the filter.
The filtered dataset will display only the annotations associated with the selected group and criteria.
Filtering by Both Layer Type and Annotation Group
Users can refine their data selection further by filtering using both layer type and annotation group simultaneously. This dual-filtering approach enhances flexibility by allowing users to narrow down datasets based on multiple criteria.
How to Apply Dual Filtering
Select the desired Layer Type from the filtering menu.
Choose the relevant Annotation Group.
The filtered dataset will display only the layers that match both selections.
Clearing Applied Filters
To reset all applied filters and restore the default view:
Click Clear Filters.
All filters will be removed, and the dataset will return to its original state.
Future Enhancements
Additional filtering capabilities and more refined categorization will be introduced in future updates to enhance usability and flexibility.
