Clocking in

On the Skello mobile app head to the Time clock tab at the bottom of the screen.

In order to clock in you’ll firstly be asked to allow the phone the locate your whereabouts.

Then choose the shift you’d like to clock in, or select "clock in without shift" if no shift is available.

Once the shift has been selected, slide the "Start " arrow to the right to clock in.

⚠️ It is not mandatory to activate geolocation when clocking in/out. In the event of a refusal it will be indicated that the punch has no location.

When returning from break, click on the blue "End my break " button at the bottom of the screen and confirm by clicking "Yes ".

Clocking out

When finishing your shift, slide the blue arrow "End " to the right.

The employee is then asked wheather Skello can track his position or not and the employee clicks on "Finish " to approve.

About geolocation data

A few important things to know about geolocation data:

  • Geolocation is not mandatory when clocking in/out. If you refuse, you can still clock in/out. It will then be indicated that we could not track your whereabouts.

  • It is possible to reactivate geolocation after refusal. To do this head to the phone settings.

  • Geolocation data is stored for 2 months and then deleted.
