Where can I download the plugins for Revit and Sketchup?

The plugins for Revit and Sketchup can be found and downloaded in the ‘Plugins and Connections’ tab found on the dashboard page of Skema.

What versions of Revit can the plugin be used in?

The Skema Plugin can be used in Revit 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025

What if the units in my catalog do not fit into my building shape?

The units in the catalog can be morphed into custom shapes and footprints to match the building shape, using Skema’s morphing tool.

See the KB Article on Morphing.

How developed does my catalog need to be?

The catalog can be as developed or undeveloped as decided. From LOD 200-LOD 350.

Are there any tools to take images or screenshots of my project in Skema?

Yes, there is a screen capture button in Skema that will take a screenshot of the modeling space once prompted. You have the ability to save views as well.

See the KB Article on Changing Cameras and Saving Views.

Is there a limit on the number of units or catalogs I can have?

There is no limit on the number of units or catalogs you can have.

Are double walls generated in the output?

No, there is only one partition wall separating unit model groups between each other, so you do not get a double wall output. However, for projects, such as modular, that would require a double wall output, this can be determined in the formatting of units in the catalog creation process.

Can I use multiple catalogs in a project?

Multiple catalogs can be used in a project. Only one catalog can be assigned to a building, however, if you have multiple buildings on your site then different catalogs can be assigned to each building.

See the KB Article on Floor Plan Layout.
