Summary

This section describes Skema's building metrics and creating a report in the Key figures function.

This KB Article includes the following:

Building Metrics

Basic building metrics are available to see on the right side of the project screen.

To gain more insight into these metrics, select the key figures tab on the top left side of the screen.

In this tab, you are able to create your own report on the building, choosing which information to include.

Key Figures Report

When you first open this tab, you will notice an accommodation schedule already set up. This has all the available metrics appearing in a report. To create a new report, click the '+' button.

All the metrics on the right side of the report can be turned on and off by clicking the check box to the left of the name. To turn them all off, select the check box next to the search bar.

You can create a row group with the metrics by selecting the block of dots between the check box and the name, and dragging the metric into the row groups tab.

To make metrics appear, select the check box to the right of the name. You can drag as many metrics into the row groups and select as many boxes to show up as you want.

The row groups are categorized from top to bottom, the top being the master layer, and the bottom names are layers within the top. You can organize these by selecting and dragging them.

If you select the 'Pivot Mode' button, you switch between an expanded table and a condensed table.

You can also bring a group into the Sum values option. If you click on the sum option in the group, you can switch it to avg, count, first, last, max, min, sum, and total count.

When you are done organizing your report, you can right-click on any of the group names, and the option to export the report will appear. You can export it as an Excel File or a CSV file. Select one of the options, and it will download to your device.

The report will show up in the new format when you open the downloaded file.

Note: The model area and the report area can be resized by grabbing the line that separates them and dragging it up or down as desired. All the tools to modify the model are available when model elements are selected.
