The RSSP program is open to refugees, stateless people, and other forcibly displaced people who are living outside of their country of origin. To access this year's intake, applicants must be registered with the UNHCR. Official registration is mandatory, and provisional registration numbers are not sufficient.
Admission to the RSSP program is highly competitive and merit-based. Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee a place, and the program anticipates a high number of applicants.
