On July 16th, Steam released an update that added a 7-day "trade protection" period to skins.

During the 7-day trade protection period, both parties in a trade have the right to cancel the transaction. The recipient of the trade offer no longer has the same level of protection as before because the sender can, if they choose, return the skins back to their own inventory. If the sender cancels the trade, they receive a 30-day trade ban on Steam. Because of this, skin-selling sites like ours can only send payment once the trade has fully gone through.

How selling skins to Skinsauna works:

  1. Log in with Steam

  2. Select the skins you want to sell at https://www.skinsauna.gg/fi/sell

  3. Choose your payment method and fill in your payment details

  4. Click the "sell skins" button and accept the trade in Steam

  5. After 7 days from the trade acceptance, we’ll send your payment

If your bank supports instant SEPA transfers, you’ll receive the money immediately — 24/7 :)

For example, if you sell your skins on Friday before 10:00 AM, the trade will go through next week on Friday at 10:00 AM. If you sell the skins after ten — for example at 10:20 — the trade will only go through on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
