Accessing user management

User management lives under System → Users in the left hand navigation. From here you can view all users, their roles, status, and permissions.

Adding a new user

Select New user in the top right. You can either add a single user or upload users in bulk.

Single user

Choose Single user to open the create user form.

You will need to provide:
• Full name
• Email address
• User role

Once created, the user receives an email invitation to verify their account.

Bulk upload

Choose Bulk upload to add multiple users at once using a CSV template. This is useful when onboarding large internal teams or supplier users.

User roles explained

Each user must have a role. Roles define the baseline level of access.

Admin
Access to catalog, enrichment, taxonomy, and user management depending on permissions.

Supplier user
Limited access focused on supplier onboarding, product submission, and related notifications.

Retailer user
Access focused on reviewing, enriching, and approving product data.

Configuring permissions and notifications

After selecting a role, you can fine tune what the user can access and what notifications they receive.

Available permission and notification controls include:
• PIM access
• AI suggestion access
• Attribute improvement access
• Inspect generation logs
• Email notifications
• Comment emails
• Supplier notifications
• Retailer notifications

These toggles allow you to give precise access without over exposing functionality.

Managing existing users

The Users table shows the current state of every user.

You can see:
• Role
• Permissions
• Email settings
• Activation status
• Verification status
• Created date

From the actions menu you can:
• Edit user details
• Update roles or permissions
• Deactivate users
• Remove users if required

Activation and verification states

Active users can log in
Inactive users cannot access the platform
Verified users have accepted their email invite
Unverified users have not yet completed account verification

These states help you monitor onboarding progress and security.

Best practice tips

• Use roles for broad access and permissions for fine control
• Keep supplier users restricted to only what they need
• Regularly review inactive or unverified users
• Use bulk upload when onboarding large teams
