Skye Wallet provides a user interface that is easily accessible and understandable even by a Newbie like you. It was designed for everyone, even those who have no experience or knowledge.
If you ever stumbled on the other crypto platforms, its safe to say confusion did hit you and almost shattered your aspirations cos why so complicated? But not anymore, Skye wallet got you!
Lets take a look at the dashboard
The numbers at the top of the dashboard represents the Naira and Dollar value of the specified cryptocurrency at the time viewed (Toggle on the button to change to another cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin).
The icons on the dashboard are self explanatory.
The first three icons :
Send: Clicking on it, you will be presented with a list of available coins you can send (either to an external crypto address or an internal Skye wallet user) just by inputting the address (that is if you are sending to an external address) or by inputting the email address of the recipient (that is if you are sending to an internal user).
(Basic knowledge says you can only give what you have which in this instance implies that you can only send cryptocurrency from your wallet if you have that amount in your wallet)
Receive: This icon is for when you want to receive cryptocurrency from an external wallet. you are also provided with a list of available coins that you can receive on Skye Wallet and you are to copy your receiving address as the funds will be sent to that address for it to reflect in your wallet.
(This is almost exactly as sending your account number to someone and the person credits your account. Your receiving address is equivalent to your account number in this instance)
Swap: You can swap from one cryptocurrency to another just by choosing which coins you want to swap to the other and inputting the amount you are willing to swap and that's it.
The next set of icons :
Wallet: This is like an actual wallet, it is where your funds are stored. You have individual wallets for all the available coins on Skye wallet.
Buy: This icon is for when you want to purchase cryptocurrency. You easily click on it, choose the crypto you want to buy, input the amount you are willing to buy and then viola! you have the value of what you have bought in your wallet. Note that you do not buy from a merchant on Skye wallet, you buy directly from the platform.
Sell: Just like the "BUY" icon but this time, it is for when you want to make sell a cryptocurrency.
The third set of icons :
Deposit: This is for when you want to fund your Naira wallet. You fund your naira wallet so you can buy cryptocurrency. To make a deposit, your BVN is required. Click on the icon and you will be provided with the details of how to fund your Naira wallet from your local bank account.
Withdraw: You want your funds in your bank account? Click on this icon, input the amount and destination of funds and you will receive it in the designated account within seconds.
Savings: Here, you save your funds in cryptocurrency. You earn interest over the period of time your funds remains saved. This gives you an edge over the inflation of Naira to Dollar value.
The last set of icons are the footer icons:
Invite: You may want to invite your friends to Skye Wallet (which comes with perks; you earn 0.5% off every transaction of those your refer). By just clicking on the invite button, you can copy your referral codes and share to your friends.
History: This can be related to your bank statement of account. All activities carried out on your account is visible when you click on this icon.
Earn: The takes you to the same page as "Invite" and it shows the history of your earnings from your referrals.
Profile: This is the page where your details are, your bank information, and a link to contact the customer support. You can also get to change your Password and reset pin. By clicking on it, you get to choose which of the actions you are willing to carry out.
If you followed till the end, then you can navigate through Skye wallet interface with little or no challenge.
