Edit employee attributes

Edit name, phone number, and email attributes for non-connected workers

Introduction

When an employee is first created in Lighthouse Business Manager, it is synced to Workforce with all available attributes (e.g. Name, Phone Number, Email Address).

Once the employee has been created within Workforce, any changes to these personal attributes within Lighthouse Business Manager will not sync through to Workforce.

Managers and administrators can change these attributes directly within Workforce, provided the employee has not yet activated their Workforce account via the mobile app.

However, for privacy reasons, once the employee has connected to the company and activated their Workforce account, the Employer will no longer be able to update these contact details, however they will remain visible.

An employee may edit their own personal attributes (First Name, Last Name and Phone Number) on the Workforce mobile app. Any changes made to these attributes will not be synced back to Lighthouse Business Manager.


Process

From the Employees page, select the employee whose information you wish to update.

On the Personal Details page, edit the respective field/s and then click SAVE.

Note when viewing the Personal Details of any employees with a status of Connected, you will be able to view the information but not edit it.
