Introduction
Manually sync new employees and jobs into SkyTab Workforce with the steps below.
Note: The system automatically syncs information from Lighthouse Business Manager every 10-15 minutes. This manual sync is for more urgent syncs required between those time periods.
Steps
New employees and jobs must be created within Lighthouse Business Manager, as this functionality does not exist within Workforce.
Once you have finished creating the new employee/job in Lighthouse Business Manager, open SkyTab Workforce by clicking on Workforce > Scheduler or Timecards.
Click the Sync button on the top right of the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
The sync will take a few seconds, after which you should see the new employee/job within SkyTab Workforce.
Editing attributes
Edits to jobs within Lighthouse Business Manager will also sync to Workforce using this process.
However, any changes made to an existing employee's first/last name, phone number, or email address made in Lighthouse Business Manager will not sync through to Workforce. These changes will need to be applied directly in Workforce.
