Introduction
Sections are work areas within the location where the shift will be worked.
For example, a restaurant may be split into four sections, with each section allocated to a different server.
Navigation
Begin by logging into Lighthouse, then navigating to Workforce > Scheduler.
Note: To complete this task, you need Lighthouse Business Manager credentials, you must be assigned as a manager in the department you are editing, and you must have the Manage Schedules permission in SkyTab Workforce.
Click on the business name to open the business menu and select Departments from the list.
Click the pencil icon (Edit) against the department you wish to add a section to.
On the Settings menu on the left, select Sections.
Click on the Add Section button or the Add Section link at the bottom of the section list.
Enter the name of your section in the Name field, then click on the Save button to save your changes.
