Description: Review how to manage employee shifts, including how to edit, unassign, and delete shifts below.
Note: You will need Lighthouse Business Manager credentials, as well as be the manager of your department and have the Manage Schedules permission in SkyTab Workforce to complete this task.
Begin by logging in to Lighthouse, then navigating to Workforce > Scheduler.
Display Options
When viewing the Scheduler, you can choose the order in which Employees are listed, as well as which name to display.
This can be done by clicking Display Options, located next to the + icon on the Scheduler.
Sort by
Employees will be listed on the Scheduler in the order selected. Two options are available:
Employee Name (Alphabetically based on First Name, A>Z)
Custom Order (drag and drop the Employee names on the Scheduler to the order of choice)
Display name as:
Choose which name to display for Employees:
First and Last Name (e.g. John Smith)
Legal Name (as listed on the Employee Profile)
Edit Shift
To edit a shift, click the shift on the Scheduler and select Edit Shift.
This will open the Edit Shift Details screen, where you can edit the shift's start and end time, breaks, and the job and sections the shift is assigned to.
Once you're finished editing the shift, click Save & Publish.
Unassign Shift
To unassign a shift, click the shift on the Scheduler, then click Unassign Shift.
A pop-up will appear to confirm. Click Yes to unassign the shift.
Delete Shift
To delete a shift, click the shift on the Scheduler, then Delete Shift.
A pop-up will appear to confirm. Click Yes to delete the shift.
