Logging in to Content Store for ArcGIS

This article describes how a permitted user can login to Content Store

Once a user has landed at the Content Store for ArcGIS landing page, having been provisioned by their account admin, they authenticate using their existing ArcGIS credentials.

Users will have the initial options:
1. Browse Content Store; no sign in required. Users can search and view pricing, but cannot place orders or add layers directly from their account.

2. Sign In; pathway to access Content Store using ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.

ArcGIS Online Login

If a user chooses to access Content Store through their ArcGIS Online account, they will require their user name and password credentials.

Once confirmed, they will be asked to "Allow" the account access to Content Store. A Request for Permission tab will open.

The user will select Allow if they want to connect to Content Store using the entered ArcGIS Online account credentials.

If the user is new, with no prior SkyWatch account, a window will appear requesting country and city information, and agreement to the SkyWatch ToS and EULA.

Once complete, the user can access Content Store.

ArcGIS Enterprise

ArcGIS Enterprise access to Content Store follows the same steps as ArcGIS Online.

The difference will be the user must provide an Enterprise portal url and App ID to complete the access workflow.

The "More Details" informs the user they must ensure they have been provisioned for Content Store prior to attempting to connect.

Troubleshoot Errors

Provisioning Error

If a user isn't provisioned by their ArcGIS Organization Administrator, they will receive a provisioning error when they attempt to access Content Store. To address this error, please follow the steps in this article.

Subscription ID Mismatch

The ArcGIS Online/Enterprise account used to access Content Store much match the subscription ID or portal url associated with the primary email. If the user attempts to access Content Store using an email not linked to the subscription ID or portal url on the SkyWatch system, an error will be returned.

Users must use the same account to Content Store.

If multiple subscription ID or portal url connections are required, please contact your ESRI Account Manager to request a Content Store Package upgrade.

If the user chooses to change the link of their subscription ID or portal url, please contact esri-support@skywatch.com.
