Layer/Area of Interest Size & Cost Requirements
Updated over a year ago

The Content Store follows the same layer/Area of Interest (AOI) polygon size and minimum charge requirements as our other SkyWatch applications.

If you attempt to create an order that falls outside the allowed minimum or maximum AOI sizes, an error message will be displayed.

The minimum AOI charges for high and very-high resolution archive imagery are designed to inform users that if their layer/AOI size is smaller than the minimum AOI charge size, they will be charged the cost for the minimum AOI size. For example, if your layer is less than 5 km² for a very high-resolution image, you will be charged the minimum amount equivalent to a 5 km² very high-resolution image ($20 per km², totalling $100).

Summary of Pricing:

  • High resolution (0.7 m): $6 per km²

  • High resolution (0.5-0.69 m): $10 per km²

  • Very high resolution: $20 per km²
