Content Store follows the same layer and area of interest (AOI) polygon size and minimum price requirements as our other SkyWatch applications.
Layer Requirements
The SkyWatch platform has the following requirements for layers and AOI polygons.
File types supported include GeoJSON and KML.
Only 1 file can be uploaded at a time containing a single polygon.
Multi-feature and multi-type polygons are not supported.
Z-coordinates are not supported.
Holes inside a polygon are not supported, also known as donut holes.
AOI polygon cannot contain any self-intersecting points.
File size should not exceed 13kb.
Polygons must have a minimum of 4 points and cannot exceed 500 vertices.
Layer Size and Pricing Specifications
When a user attempts to create/upload an AOI polygon that is outside of the allowed minimum or maximum areas listed below, an error will be displayed.
Note: Please be aware that some types of orders have minimum pricing (min billable AOI column), which can differ from the minimum AOI size. Pricing, based on min billable AOI size, is shown when confirming your order.
For example, if you have an AOI polygon 2 km2 for a very high resolution archive image, you will be charged a minimum amount equivalent to a 5 km2 very high resolution archive image ($25 per km2 -> $125).
