Refund timeframes depend on the reason for the refund and the airline’s processing times. Slice Pay always aims to process refunds promptly once funds are received from the relevant party.
💳 1. Refunds for Booking Errors
If a booking error occurs or you wish to cancel within 24 hours (and your booking can be cancelled with your agent) - Your payment needs to be refunded directly by our payment processor, refunds are typically returned to your original payment card within 5–10 business days.
✈️ 2. Refunds for Flight Cancellations
If you’ve cancelled your flight and are entitled to a refund, Slice Pay will process it as soon as we receive the funds from the airline.
Please note that airlines can take up to 12 weeks to process refunds. Once received, we’ll return the funds to the same card used for your payment plan.
⏱️ Additional Factors Affecting Refund Timing
Bank processing times: After we issue the refund, it may take your bank an additional 3- 5 business days to post the funds to your account.
Public holidays and weekends can also slightly extend this timeframe.
Original Payment Method No Longer Available:
