Adjust your Sling Money balance to show in your preferred currency
Depending on where Sling Money is regulated, your Sling Wallet may contain:
USDP, a digital dollar pegged to the US Dollar and issued by Paxos Trust Company LLC.
EURC, a digital euro issued by Circle Internet Financial and fully backed by euro reserves.
For ease of use, the Sling Money app displays your balance in USDP or EURC as the primary display currency. However, you can change your display currency to almost any currency worldwide.
To change the display currency shown at the top of your screen:
Tap your avatar at the top left of your transaction screen.
Tap ‘Display currency’.
Browse the list or type the name of a currency in the search bar.
That’s it! When you return to your transaction screen, your new display currency will appear. This setting will also apply when you make transfers in foreign currencies.
You can change your primary currency at any time.
✏️ Example
When travelling in Thailand, you can set your display currency to Thai Baht (THB)
When you move to Malaysia, you can switch it to Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) with just a few taps.
