Who makes Sling Money?

Avian Labs is the company that makes Sling Money.

Avian Labs was founded in 2022 by Mike Hudack and Simon Amor, who met while building Monzo Bank. The company is now over twenty people strong and backed by venture capital investors including Ribbit Capital, USV and Slow Ventures.

Our mission is to connect billions of people worldwide through effortless, instant, global payments using blockchain technology. We believe that this is good for society, good for the economy, and good for individual people.

Avian Labs Netherlands B.V. is registered with the Dutch Central Bank for the provision of exchange services between digital currencies and government-issued fiat currencies. The company registration number 91273323.

How is Sling Money regulated?

🇪🇺 In Europe, the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets (“AFM”) has decided to grant Avian Labs authorisation as a provider of crypto-asset services as referred to in Article 63(9) Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (“MiCAR”).

Avian Labs Netherlands B.V. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Avian Labs, Inc.
