Does Sling Money have access to my money?

Learn why Sling Money cannot access or control the money in your wallet

Updated this week

Full control stays with you

No. Sling Money does not have access to your money. All Sling Money wallets are self-custody wallets, which means that you - and only you - control your funds.

The digital dollars (USDP) and digital euros (EURC) in your Sling Wallet are protected by a private cryptographic key — a unique string of characters that keeps your wallet secure.

This key is accessible only to you and ensures that your money always remains under your control.

What Sling Money cannot do

Sling Money cannot:

  • Access your wallet

  • Initiate transfers on your behalf

  • Control or move the money stored in your wallet

Your funds are fully yours, and your private key ensures that no one, not even Sling Money, can access or transfer them.
