We know waiting for your perfect jeans can be tough, and if you haven’t received an update in a while, you might be wondering what’s going on. Here are a few possible reasons why your order status hasn’t changed or why you haven’t received recent updates.


1. Our Automated Update System Is Still in Development

Slø is building a brand-new kind of manufacturing system, and part of that includes automated order updates. Right now, we’re still refining our tracking system to ensure you get real-time, accurate progress reports. If your order status hasn’t updated in your member profile, don’t worry—your jeans are still moving through production.

What we’re doing about it:

  • Actively improving the automation behind order tracking.

  • Working toward more detailed real-time updates as production progresses.


2. Your Order May Still Be in the Production Queue

Because we make every pair of jeans to order, production doesn’t always begin immediately after purchase. Orders go through several pre-production steps, including:

  • Measurement verification – Ensuring your size is accurate before cutting fabric.

  • Batch processing – Grouping similar orders together for efficiency.

  • Fabric allocation – If we’re waiting on a specific fabric batch, this may cause slight delays.

If you haven’t received an update, it might be because your order is in one of these early stages.


3. Production Timing Can Vary

While we aim for production within 30 days, factors like demand, material sourcing, or refinements to our process can sometimes create unexpected delays.

If you haven’t received an update in a while, it may be because:

  • Your order is at a stage that takes longer – For example, washing and finishing can vary in timing depending on demand.

  • We’re improving a specific step in production – We’re constantly refining our process to make Slø jeans even better.

  • A supply chain delay – If there was a fabric or component shortage, production may have been temporarily paused.


4. Your Order Is Moving, but Updates Haven’t Been Sent Yet

Sometimes, orders move through production faster than our current tracking system can update. That means your jeans could be further along than what your profile shows.

5. Holidays or High-Demand Periods

If you ordered during a peak season (such as December), there may have been holiday slowdowns affecting production, fabric availability, or carrier timelines.

We do our best to prevent this from affecting your order, but sometimes seasonal factors are beyond our control.


What Should You Do?

If you haven’t received an update in a while:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder – Sometimes, update emails end up there.

  2. Log into your member profile – This is where order tracking updates will appear.

  3. Contact us – If you still don’t see an update, email us at support@slo.co, and we’ll manually check your order’s progress.
