Content task versioning is incredibly helpful for your team to keep track of edits and changes to a piece of content. We've all had files named Project2_final4.file or  Project2_finalfinal3.file. Never again!

When adding a new version to a content task the name, description, and assigned users all stay consistent. The file shown, it's comments, and feedback/approval status, are all version-specific.

We lock old versions from being edited in any way so your team has a clear understanding of how the content task has been progressing, what edits were made previously, and who has been responsible for what. It's a great way to track a project's progress.
