SLP Toolkit has implemented Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) because safe-guarding student data is very important to us. If you encounter any issues, check out the troubleshooting guide below:
➡️ I'm not getting the one-time code sent to my email:
Solution:
1. Check your junk/clutter/spam folder for an email from no-reply@slptoolkit.com titled 'Login Verification Code for SLP Toolkit.'
2. Try logging into your account using an Incognito window to access the verification code.
3. If using a school email, connect with your IT department and share this list of URLs with them for whitelisting.
➡️ It says my one-time code is invalid:
Solution:
1. When copying and pasting the code into the verification field, ensure there is no extra space at the end of the code.
2. Carefully type out the code.
3. If you clicked the 'Send Code' button more than once, make sure you are entering the most recent code.
4. Use the code within 15 minutes of it being sent.
5. Try copying and pasting the code into a note or document first (such as a Google doc). Then, paste the code into the verification box.
➡️ I need to share my account with an assistant or grad student:
Solution:
We understand that changes in security protocols can sometimes cause inconvenience, especially in cases where account access is shared. Although we do not recommend account sharing, we understand that it sometimes may be necessary. In this case, the SLP should coordinate with the SLPA by sharing the one-time code every 30 days, or creating a shared email account.
