You've added your students to your Caseload and created (or imported) IEP Start and End dates under the Goals tab. Now what? Add goals to each of your students under their IEP Periods so that you can start logging data!
You can use our goal bank, set up your own goals, or add goals recommended from an assessment! Scroll down for an overview of each!
How to Add Goals Quickly
1. Go to the Caseload page.
2. Click on a student's name.
3. Click on the Goals tab.
4. Click Quick Add Custom Goal.
5. Type your goal in the Goal box.
6. Click Add.
7. Repeat Steps 4-6 for all of your goals.
8. Click Save (on the top right) to save your changes.
If you'd like to add levels or objectives to a goal, click Edit next to the goal. Type your levels/objectives in the box, click Add Level, and click Save (once you've added all of your levels/objectives).
How to Add Goals from the Goal Bank
1. Go to the Caseload page.
2. Click on a student's name.
3. Click on the Goals tab.
4. Click Add Goal.
The goal bank modal will pop up.
5. Select an area from the "Filter by Area" dropdown menu, or filter by keyword.
6. Click the Add Goal button for each of the goals you would like to add.
7. If you would like to add Stem Levels (objectives) to the goals, click Add next to each of the levels.
8. Exit the modal by clicking the Close button.
Under the Goals tab, you will now see your goals.
9. Select the levels for your goal from the dropdown (if applicable).
10. Enter the goal type, baseline accuracy, and goal accuracy,
11. Click Save (on the top right) to save your changes.
* To use the probe feature, you must use goals from the goal bank!
How to Create Custom Goals
1. Go to the Caseload page.
2. Click on a student's name.
3. Click on the Goals tab.
4. Click Add Goal.
The goal bank modal will pop up.
5. Click Create Custom Goal.
6. Paste your student's goal in the Goal Box.
7. (Optional) Type a level/objective in the Level box. Press Enter. Repeat for all levels/objectives.
8. Click Save.
9. Repeat Steps 4-7 for all of your student's goals.
10. Click the checkbox next to the student's goals.
11. Click Add Goal Stem.
The modal will close, and you'll see a list of your student's goals.
12. Select the levels for your goal from the dropdown (if applicable).
13. Enter the goal type, baseline accuracy, and goal accuracy,
14. Click Save (on the top right) to save your changes.
If you are logged in as an Assistant, you are unable to add goals.
How to Add Goals After Using the Assessment Feature
Go to Caseload page.
Click into a student's profile.
Click on the Assessment tab.
Select and have the student complete an assessment.
Click on "View Recommendations" to see goal recommendations.
Collect probe data and add goals to the student's goal list.
