How to publish and unpublish content in Smart Arena

Publishing content

Publishing the content signifies that the course has met all quality standards and is ready for learners. It’s essential to review all final adjustments to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and alignment with learning objectives (see Content revision). After confirmation, the course can be published, making it accessible to users for enrollment and completion.

The author has to publish the content in the Content overview in order for the revision process to begin. Once the content has been revised, the revisor or the administrator can publish the content. See Content revision.

Unpublishing content

To unpublish content in Smart Arena, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Content Management section from the left-side navigation panel, and select Content Overview.

  2. Locate the Content: Find the content you wish to unpublish either by searching for it in the search bar, selecting the category, or scrolling through the content list.

  3. Click on the Unpublish Icon: Hover over the content card, and you will see 3 icons at the bottom. Click on the Unpublish icon (represented by the X icon) to unpublish the content.

  4. Confirm Unpublishing: Confirm the action if prompted. Once unpublished, the content will no longer be accessible to learners but will still be available for further editing or review.
