A Live Course in Smart Arena is an ideal solution for hosting interactive training sessions, workshops, or seminars that require real-time participation. This course type allows instructors to engage directly with learners through live sessions, creating opportunities for immediate feedback, collaboration, and dynamic learning experiences. Whether conducting employee onboarding, professional development, or skill enhancement programs, live courses are perfect for fostering engagement and ensuring knowledge transfer in an interactive environment.

To start the Live course creation process, go to the Course management tab in the navigation menu. Click on the Create new course button and select Live course.


First step of setting up a Live course is filling out general information.

Course description

Under the Course Description section, the following fields need to be completed:

  • Enter the title of the course to clearly define its purpose or content.

  • Write a detailed description of the course content, objectives, and any additional relevant details.

  • Upload an image that represents the course visually, which will appear as its cover or thumbnail.

  • Select the appropriate category (optional) to classify the course within the system.

  • Specify the qualification (optional) associated with completing the course.

The mapping code is automatically generated but can be changed here.

Available seats

Enter the number of available spots for attending the course. This field is mandatory.

It is important to fill it out correctly, as the number of participants who can register for the course will not exceed the number specified in this field.

Financial data

Enter the total cost of the course in the field. If the price applies to individual users, enable the Per User toggle.

Instructors

To add instructors click Set instructors, and check the user you want to add. To simplify the search use the search bar.

When you have selected the instructors, don't forget to click Add instructors.

To remove an instructor click the red x button under actions in their row.

Completion terms

Under the Completion Terms section, you need to fill in the following:

  • Minimum Attendance: Specify the minimum attendance percentage or sessions required for the course to be considered complete.

  • Minimum Score: Enter the minimum score a participant must achieve to successfully complete the course.

These fields define the criteria learners must meet to fulfill the course requirements.
