Live course - Additional course material

Step 7 in Live course creation.

Updated over 5 months ago

The Additional Course Material section in a live course is useful as it allows instructors to enhance the learning experience by providing supplementary resources. By uploading videos, audio, images, or documents, course creators can support different learning styles, reinforce key concepts, and offer detailed explanations.

This ensures learners have access to all necessary materials directly from the course landing page, enabling a comprehensive and flexible learning environment. Such resources also help participants prepare better for live sessions and retain information effectively.

On this page, you can manage Additional Course Material for a course. The section allows you to upload supplementary files such as videos, audio, images, or documents (e.g., DOC, PDF, or PPT).

Users enrolled in the course can download these materials from the course landing page.

To add new materials, click the Add course material button. Write out the content title and add a description. Finally, click the Upload title button to add a file.ย

If no additional material has been uploaded, the message This course has no additional material is displayed.

The content may not appear immediately. To see the added content click Save and reopen the Live course Step 7.

Once you have added or updated the materials, click Save to confirm the changes or Cancel to discard them.

Click on Step 8 to move on to adding the Course to a Course catalogue. See Course catalogue.
