We don't have any direct experience with the Bobcat 300, but given it's a previous generation "full" hotspot and the HL100 is a next gen Light Hotspot, there's a few points to consider:
Energy efficiency: "Full" hotspots require more computing power, resulting in higher energy usage. The HL100 is powered by a 5W adapter, similar to most smartphone chargers
Storage reliability: "Full" hotspots used to sync the entire blockchain locally, requiring each hotspot to use an SD card for storage. The HL100 uses internal flash storage, which is incredibly reliable and much less prone to data corruption - resulting in more uninterrupted mining.
Overall mining results should be similar between the two hotspots, but the 2 points above could impact overall profitability!
