1) If your Hub has been offline for some time, you should see a red banner that says “(Location of Hub) Hub is Offline” with a reconnect button next to it as soon as you open your SmartAC.com App.

2) A screen will pop up with steps to identify what may be the reason your Hub is offline. If these solutions do not bring your hub back online, you can scroll down to find the “Still not Working?” section which shows your offline hubs.

3) Click on the hub you would like to reconnect. If it is not visible proceed to Step 9.

4) After you select the Hub, a pop up will ask you to choose what type of internet connection you would like to connect with to obtain internet access for your Hub. We recommend using WiFi.

Use WPS:

Follow the instructions on your Screen to connect via WPS:

Use Ethernet:

5) If you have selected WiFi as your reconnect method, tap “Connect” once you see your Hub’s light is blinking orange. If it is blue or if it's a solid orange, select “Hub light is not blinking” to follow the instructions to reset your Hub.

6) You will then be asked to join a WiFi Network similar to the one below, but with your Hub's ID number:

"SmartAC- SMARTACHUB1A1X######"

7) Once you have joined your Hub’s Network, you will then need to select the WiFi Network you want your Hub to have internet access to .

Select your WiFi Network.

Then type in your WiFi Password and tap "Check Connection."

You will then wait for your connection to be verified.

8) Once you are connected you can double check to see if you Hub is online by confirming your Hub's Status says "Online" and that your signal strength is green.

9) If the Hub you wanted to reconnect was not listed in Step 3, follow the steps below to view all your devices on one page.

1️⃣

Go to the “Account” page then under “HARDWARE” tap “Devices.”

2️⃣

All your devices that are offline or online will be visible here. Tap on the Hub that you want to bring back online.
