Performing a battery change for a homeowner
Open the app and click on “Members” on the menu at the bottom of the screen.
Then click on the “Member” for which you would like to replace the battery or search for it using the search bar at the top of the screen.
Click on “Property Details” and scroll to the right to the “Devices” area
Using the Devices area in the SmartAC.com Pro App, ensure all SmartAC.com devices are currently online with a green signal strength and battery level.
Select the Devices tab and scroll down to check each sensor’s battery level and signal strength.
Identify the sensor by its listed location in the system (e.g., “Living Room” or “Main Office”).
From the sensor summary, select “Battery Level” to initiate the battery replacement process.
Follow the on-screen Battery Replacement steps, ensuring all batteries are replaced with new Energizer Lithium AA batteries. Alternatively, you may upgrade to Long-Life battery packs if desired.
Once completed, the system will verify that the batteries are correctly installed and confirm that the sensor is back online.
Can’t remember where your sensor is located?
For sensors whose battery isn’t entirely depleted
Scroll down in the “devices area” and click on “ID Sensor”
Verify the information of your sensor, and follow the steps. The hub will connect to the sensor and send an alert that will make the sensor blink intermittently.
