Upon successful login, you land on the SmartProperty portal dashboard. However, if you are on a different module, clicking Dashboard from the left-hand menu takes you to the SmartProperty dashboard.
The dashboard gives you a thorough projection of your reserves. Relevant stats are displayed via the use of graphs, bar charts, and tables so that the meaningful information is just a glance away.
It starts off with the Key Insights tile. This tile displays the Reserve Account Balance, Contributions to Reserves, and Anticipated Expenditures for this Year.
This is followed by the "What's the financial condition of your reserves" section. In view of the amount you hold in the bank, your expenses, and the time when those expenses are due, a percentage is displayed in this section. This percentage reflects your ability to pay replacement reserves.
This percentage is directly proportional to your ability to pay replacement reserves.
Next up is the "What's on the calendar for this year" section. Here, your projects for the current budget year that need replacement or maintenance are listed. Information is tabulated via a couple of columns that include Top Anticipated Expenditures and Replacement Costs.
This is followed by the "Where your money is going" section. Here, the projected expenditure is segregated into different categories. The results are displayed via a pie chart that shows a spend percentage each component will require.
A list of all components is displayed on the right side that acts as a legend to facilitate reading the pie chart.
Scrolling down further, you can see the "What does the future look like" section. This section includes the future projection of all 3 key insights. The projection is displayed via a bar chart.
Moreover, you can select the timeframe for which you want to view the projection using a dropdown at the top-left corner of this chart. The available options include 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 Years.
A legend at the right side of the chart lets you identify each key insight on the basis of the bar color.
In addition, clicking the blue bar (Anticipated Expenditure) from the chart displays individual expenditure for the selected year in the table below this chart. In this table, the data displayed via graph is tabulated with the use of several columns. These include Name, Category, Current Replacement Cost, and Anticipated Expenditure.
