TaxSlayer E-Sign Options

1. In-Person E-Signatures:

This option lets you capture client signatures right in your office. All you need is a compatible signature pad, and you're ready to go!

2. Online E-Signatures:

TaxSlayer’s online e-signature option, integrated with TaxSlayer/Drake portals, enables clients to review and sign their tax documents remotely. This is an eSignature Event.

Here's how it works in Drake/TaxSlayer:

  1. From the View/Print screen, select the forms you need to be signed.

  2. Send them to your client (E-Signature Event)

  3. They receive an email notification to log in to TaxSlayer/Drake Portal.

  4. Clients verify their identity.

  5. Clients securely sign documents.

  6. You download signed documents back into TaxSlayer/Drake Documents.

Important Considerations

Before using the online e-signature feature, keep the following in mind:

  • Currently, the primary taxpayer and spouse must share the same address.

  • If a taxpayer fails the identity verification process three times, they will be locked out of the remote signing feature.

What You Need to Use E-Sign

To use e-Sign, you must have: SecureFilePro

Purchasing E-Signature Events

To get started with online e-signatures, you'll need to purchase e-signature events. Here's how:

  1. Click Sign Up Now.

  2. Click Sign in to my TaxSlayer Account.

  3. Enter your EOM Credentials.

  4. Purchase e-signature events.

With TaxSlayer's e-signature options, you can streamline your workflow, improve client satisfaction, and make tax season a breeze.
