Click on "Federal Section".
Click on "Income".
Click on "BEGIN" next to "Form 1099G Box 1".
Click on "BEGIN" next to "Add or Edit a 1099-G".
Enter the Payer's information as found on the 1099-G.
Confirm the city and state auto-populated correctly.
Enter the total amount for the client's unemployment compensation. If they had taxes withheld, you will also include here for the federal and state.
Now confirm that the "Payee Information" for the client, matches what is provided on the 1099-G.
Confirm the information and then click on "Continue".
