This resource is designed to help you navigate the SMArtX platform by providing clear and concise definitions of key terms, concepts, and features.

Updated over 3 months ago

Advisor Portal - The UI Advisors use to view, maintain and rebalance their clients accounts.

AUM (Assets Under Management) - The AUM page shows only the Assets Under Management with SMArtX.

CSV file - The type of file that is downloaded when you choose to export file templates or data from the Manage Returns, Portfolio Editor or Trade History sections of the Manager Portal. Edit .csv files in Excel.

Dynamic models - Our models are dynamic and move with the market. Once you upload your positions and cash value by percentage, the Advisor Platform takes the positions and builds a portfolio based on 1,000,000,000 initial equity. As stock positions grow in value in an account, they will take up more of the portfolio. The model manager can update the percentages to bring the model back to desired levels.

FIX - Financial Information exchange.

GIPS Performance - Global Investment Performance Standards (or “GIPS” for short) were created by the CFA Institute.

Historical Returns - The monthly gross performances for the model prior to SMArtX managing the model.

Manage Returns - The section of the Manager Portal where you will add historical returns to the selected model.

Manager Portal - The UI managers use to view model information, add historical returns, edit portfolios, view trade history and assets under management.

Model - A managed portfolio of options and equities.

Trade History - The section of the Manager Portal where you can view and search through the model’s trade history as well as download a record of all trades from this area.

Web-based model - The type of model that can be edited from the Manager Portal. All other models can only be viewed from the Manager Portal.
