What is the Funding Sleeve?

The Funding Sleeve is a dedicated cash sleeve used to hold funds related to CMA activity.


What It Does

  • Holds cash for upcoming withdrawals

  • Prevents reinvestment of withdrawal funds

  • Stores incoming deposits before investment


Why It Matters

Without the Funding Sleeve:

  • Cash could be reinvested unintentionally

  • Withdrawals may not be properly funded


Key Behavior

  • Cash in Funding Sleeve is not investable

  • Rebalancer will not deploy this cash

  • Acts as a protected buffer
