When creating a shoppable or interactive video, each project you build will need to contain at least one product to make it interactive or shoppable. This is because the information in the overlay or 'pop-ups' on the interactive player is found within a 'product' in the editor.

For example, observe this product in the player:

In order to create the product in the Editor, the fields were added manually. Here is the view within the Editor for a comparison:

Adding a Product

To add products to your project, you must navigate to the 'Products' section of the editor using the navigation panel on the left-hand side. Here you will be able to manually add product information using the product form.

Within the product form, you are able to adjust a whole host of fields depending on what information you want to show in the player and how you wish that information to be displayed.

Available fields to edit:

  • NAME: Add a name of the product

  • IMAGES: Upload product images or add by URL

  • DETAILS: Add product details (eg. Description)

  • ACTIONS: Edit the CTA and CTA label of the product in the player

Note: Some fields are only available for specific pop-up templates. Speak to your Account Manager to customise your template to your need should the field be invalid.

Once you have added in your desired product information click 'SAVE' in the top right-hand corner of the page to finish building your product.

Tip: Click the product in the product list to edit the product again.
